Carla is a believer in the power of a good story. She began her career as an actress in New York. Carla has hosted two talk shows in the San Francisco Bay Area, Nite Time (KRON BAY-TV) and Log-On TV (KGO-TV), where she discovered her passion for helping others to find their voice and give power and presence to their message. Carla finds great pleasure in the discovery of an emerging voice.

She now spends the bulk of her working hours coaching technology executives, TED talkers, authors, social innovators, and rock stars (real ones!) across the nation. It is Carla’s belief that our voices and the spoken word are the most powerful catalysts for love, understanding and meaningful change.

Julia has been telling business stories for the past 10 years on behalf of startups, governments and executives in Paris, Sydney and San Francisco. She believes traditional media has favored the male world-view, and that in the span of her career, new media has empowered women to speak up and elevate their voices.

Today she is inspired by even 'newer' new media including emerging storytelling mediums like Snap, web-series, and VR & AR, and hopes that we can harness these platforms to showcase awesome women crushing it around the globe – and in turn inspire the next generation.
